I love my job. I love to write. I love telling stories. Often its hard to keep my confidence as a writer. Sometimes it hard for me to trust that my books are good enough, bold enough, strong enough for my readers. Ill be honest, its hard. I always, always do my absolute best for you. First and foremost, you have to know those things. Second, I think people are misinterpreting the letter at the conclusion of Beta. I dont want to give spoilers, but I will say that I never said I would never write more of this series. In fact, I said I would LOVE to. I also want to be honest and say part of the reason that it took me so much longer to come out with BETA than normal was because I needed space so I could regain my confidence, which was honestly knocked a bit from publishing ALPHA, simply because of some of the feedback I got. Its easy to focus on the negative; I try not to, but sometimes it just happens. BETA was a huge challenge for me. It was the hardest book Ive ever written. If it was a disappointment to you, Im honestly sorry. I know it was different and gritty. I hope you all know that regardless of your feelings or reviews, good or bad, I appreciate your feedback and I appreciate you reading. Thank you.
