I need some doggie advice from my friends that have dogs . . . I will be calling the vet in the morning but in the meantime I would appreciate any feedback. Mulligan has had the runs off and on for the past week (he seems fine otherwise) and we have been very careful only to give him his kibble. The first day it started we gave him a canned prescription food from the vet (per their recommendation) that has extra fiber in it and that seemed to correct things but it is back. The only other thing I would add that may or may not matter is that in the past month or so we have noticed that he is starting to have trouble with his back legs when jumping onto the couch and he did just turn 11 last month - he is 70 lbs, half Dalmatian and half Border Collie mix.
