I posted a comment in another post about some scammers. Figured I should make a post out of it. Few months ago my cousin was almost scammed by these two guys at his house in The City of Whittier. I know its not ELA but scammers travel. Well they came up to my primo while he was cleaning up his garage, they started taking pictures of his house started talking to him. They knew his full name, his wifes full name, when they bought their house, how much they paid for their house, what their interest rate was, how much his mortgage payment was, how many times he streamlined and refinanced his loan and how much he still owed on the house and what bank their loan was with and they had their cell phone numbers. These guys tried to say they were with a private company that the bank contracts to do work for them and that his house was going through foreclosure because he had not made a payment for at least 10 months. And that he got plenty of notices from the bank to pay. My primo asked them the name of the company and was told Q&N property liquidation inc. they had paperwork that looked like it was a real company and they were in polo shirts with slacks and company I.D.s. they looked legit but my primo knew he paid the bank, never late on payments. He told them that and they said it must be a mix up, but they were there to call the sheriffs and evict him. Unless he filled an extension. They wanted him to fill out and put signatures and initials to a bunch of paperwork my primo said looked like the stuff he filled out when buying his house to begin with. It was a thick stack to go through. My primo didnt do it, he told them to piss off. They wouldnt leave and threatened to evict him. He went inside and got his phone to take pictures of these fools and before he could get his camera going on the phone, these fools pulled their pollo shirts over their heads to cover their faces hopped in a 2007 white Jetta and drove off, no plates just an add for a dealership he couldnt make out. He called the bank everything was fine. No one came to evict him it was all a scam. Has anyone else been scammed by these fools.
