I posted this in our Facebook group (which I invite you to join: https://facebook/groups/MSMGroup/) But thought it may be of interest to others too : Just a thought: I passed up a lot of freebies & money makers today and there are three reasons. (1) I dont need them. I have 6 downy balls in my laundry area. I dont use them. I hated them. Even for a $1 money maker am I going to bring junk into my house that I dont want- with 4 kids I barely have enough room as it is. Sure I could donate it...but I expect most of the charities I support would rather have a can of beans than a downy ball. I have so many bottles of lotion right now and so many packages of taco seasoning and rice mixes that I cant shove any more into my pantry (and thats already donating a bunch). (2) If I take these items that I dont really want/need- someone who does want/need it probably wont get it. At the end of the week if there is any tuna fish pouches left I will pick up a few to donate - but honestly Id rather pay an extra 50 cents or $1 for things I really need, want, use than use overage from stuff that will just take up space in my little world. (3) I only have 20 coupons per day to double. I want gogurt, I want cheap sausage, I want gogo squeeze, I want free deodorant. Id rather use the 20 coupons on things we need/want/use than waste even a piece of that quota for something I wont. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with getting Money Makers to cover the cost of other items- so dont misread this. Just a different perspective to look from
