I promised a girl over the Internet Id write a song about young carers. I cant take credit for knowing about this as honestly this subject was new to me and I think everybody needs to know more about it... I think we should all write well done in the comments for this young carer, she deserves it!! Im posting the lyrics my pronounciation is rubbish. This song is called SuperGirl :) Everyday she wakes up to another day Doesnt know if her mums awake Or if theres no sound But she hates the way She sees her mother in pain Her bodys there But her memories gone away And all the kids at her school Think its odd and so not cool So they pick on her she does the best she can but People dont understand How she feels she feels trapped inside Wants to help her mum thats right And nobody wants to help or try Shes fighting through the shadows Shes fighting through the words Shes taking care of her mother And ignoring the way it hurts She stays inside, works day and night Doesnt have the time to show her face to the world But she doesnt know Shes super girl Another day, nothing really seems to change Her life has always been this way Shes used to it now But she cant help but wonder What its like to be another person Free from responsibilities Cause if we stop open our eyes Find out what its like To not be able to do the things we take for granted Cause listen up listen clear This girl deserves more respect then we give Shes beautiful and so is her mother Shes beautiful and perfect Got such a big heart inside Shes everything shes worth it And we all need to show What she means to you and me But she doesnt have the time to show her face to the world But she doesnt know I want her to know Shes super girl
