“I ran away from that area because I heard the sound of the guns. I ran with my children,” said Adut, a 40-year-old widow and mother of 9 who fled the violence in Unity State in South Sudan. Adut is among hundreds of thousands of displaced people now living in ill-equipped camps throughout South Sudan. “We are cutting the grass to sell to get food,” she said. “I only feel hope from God to help me feed these children.” Donate to help families in South Sudan: worldconcern.org/southsudanrelief
