I rarely ever post a status update, mostly because Im enjoying those of others, but I wanted to share this, and on behalf of GPA National, thank EVERYONE involved in Saturdays efforts to ensure the safety of 32 Greyhounds who became stranded on I24 in Nashville when the truck carrying the hauler broke down en route from Daytona to Indy. The haul drivers never left the dogs for one moment, and GPA Nashville, Music City Greyhounds, and All About Hounds were there in the blink of an eye to assist, and GPA-N quickly had back up plans and vet assistance in place if needed. In particular, Id like to thank the transport drivers, Greyhound Pets of America Daytona, Greyhound Pets of America Nashville, Greyhound Pets of America Indianapolis, Music City Greyhounds, All About Hounds, Prison Greyhounds (Indy), and American Greyhounds for their outstanding actions and efforts. The communication and coordination was positively flawless. I spoke to people on Saturday that Id never heard of, but whose names now Ill never forget. You guys are awesome, to say the least. Thanks to all of you, 32 Greyhounds are safe, and on their way to forever homes in IN, WI, and MN. Many thanks to Tom Trickle for putting this video up on YouTube as well!)
