I realized something while I was looking at old photographs that I had taken when I was younger and newer to photography. I was very ambitious, often biting off more than I could chew. Sometimes I choked- taking on more than I could handle- and other times I vomited- putting out work that didnt look as good as it could have. (Excuse my gross metaphor! ;P) But all in all I believe it was worthwhile, the only way to gain experience and grow in your craft is to take risks, get out of your comfort zone, and try something new. And always practice, practice, practice! Shoot and reload. Today, my present self learned something from my past self- I hope I take that lesson to heart!
