I really want to be wrong about this, but the librarian and the triplet mommy in me is just not letting go... Librarian: There only seems to be one source, the screen shot of some girls original status. The Jewish world is so small, even more so online. If this were true, wouldnt we be hearing it from more friends and relatives? Or at least people who have heard of this family personally? (And dont tell me that they might not have Facebook, because that just lowers the possibility of them naming the babies this way...) Then, the picture thats been circulating was linked back to an old article about different triplets. (Where the parents are very, very Israeli looking and it would be very surprising to hear they were a New York Family. Even an Israeli one.) Mom of triplets: I feel pretty confident that I can say that even though the name choices are outstanding, usually in a high order multiple situation getting to the point of Brit Milah is more cause for broadcast. Most triplets are born premature and do not have Brit bZman. They spend time in the NICU, often in very precarious situations for extended periods of time. Sometimes brothers may not have their Brissim together at all! And in the rarer cases where Brit IS bZman, that probably wouldve made it into the post as well... (Our Mohel told us that he had performed Milah on a number of triplets and our sons was his 1st bZman.) I hope Im wrong and we get a real picture of the real family. But more likely this was a joke that got out of hand, and really sloppy reporting by the Jewish Press and the Times of Israel. All Im asking for is some fact checking...
