I received this email this weekend which has been forward through out Ohio from Tom DeWeese of the American Policy Center concerning some positive news coming out of Pickaway County Ohio. Here is the meat of it: Hello, I wanted to bring your attention to an email I sent out on Tuesday. Three County Commissioners in Pickaway County, Ohio have stood up and said no to regional planners in their community. We need to show these Commissioners that we appreciate the action they have taken - because they are now coming under tremendous pressure from powerful forces to reverse their courageous decision. Please take a moment to read the email below for more information and then send these three brave Commissioners your Letter of Thanks. I want to introduce you to three of the most courageous patriots in America. Jay Wippel. Brian Stewart. Harold Henson. These are the County Commissioners of Pickaway County, Ohio. And together they have launched a revolution that is rocking the nation. But they need your help. And your help is as simple as signing the “Letter of Thanks for Opposing UN-Inspired Bureaucrats.” Let me explain why your “Letter of Thanks” is so urgently needed to protect America from Agenda 21. These three elected officials have declared war on the UN-inspired plan to control U.S. cities (officially its called Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development). On July 2nd the Pickaway County Commissioners courageously voted to REJECT a plan to accept dictates from unelected “regional planners”. Commissioner Brian Stewart made his position clear: “Pickaway County does not want to live the way you want us to.” The Obama Administration and the United Nations are working hand in glove to enforce the U.N plan to take control of AMERICA’s cities. This UN scheme is just another way destroy American sovereignty and control our lives! It is a violation of our U.S. Constitution. It destroys American’s precious system of limited government. And right now, the United Nations has already infested over 600 American cities with this subversive attack to lock away private land and force redistribution of personal wealth. That’s exactly what Agenda 21 is designed to do. But these three patriots are fighting back. Here is what they have done: The County Commissioners voted to REJECT a push for central, regioinal planning by unelected hacks who are utterly unaccountable to the voters. This regional planning is a key part to imposition of Sustainable Development, the policy that traces it roots directly back to the UN’s Agenda 21. Why did they do that? Because, said the three County Commissioners, this UN inspired plan violated the private property rights of their constituents!!!! When was the last time you heard an elected body say anything like that in a public meeting by elected officials?
