I remember it like it was yesterday. I was driving to work and my brother called from NYC. He had just stepped off the subway by his office in the financial district and the 1st plane had screamed over his head as he walked down the street. As he was telling me how loud the plane was and that it hit the World Trade Center I could start to hear the sirens of the first emergency crews on their way. Little did either of us know what this day would mean for this country and how it would effect every American in some way. Proud to be an American and we will never forget the fact that so many awesome Americans paid the ultimate sacrifice.
