I sacrificed my loving son..for the sake of you all.. By Marita Shukla Fernandes.... There was a man, an only kid, a son he had.. While he worked,his son would love,to watch his dad... He worked as a Bridge master, for the Rail road.. The way he handled his job...his son he always showed... His son, he loved, to watch the trains... And the travelers on them..in sunshine or rain... All types of people, some tensed,relaxed,funny,exciting Some lonely, some angry, some selfish, some hurting.. One day as they relaxed, a train came speeding along.. while the red signal said, that the train was halted far long.. His son saw the speeding train and tried, to raise his voice.. But the father saw it later and had, no other choice.. The boy went down the bridge, to pull the lever below... So that the train would halt or at least, its pace would get slow... But as he went down, he slipped below and fell... The man saw his son fall but did not know, whom to tell... The train kept speeding..and the choice was an unimaginable.. The father had to make a decision, that was uncontrollable... Pull the lever to form the bridge, to save thousands in the train.. Or let his son crush below the bridge and lose him in vain... He pulled the lever, saved the thousands as his heart cried loud. He lost his love, his only beloved son...to save the crowd... The saving of all, required the sacrifice of the one, most dear... He cried and cried, his voice so loud, as he trembled with fear... Such was the heart of the man who gave his only sons life for all... Saving thousands of people...and saw his son below the bridge fall... He was a man with courage, would we too think this way???? We hurt others for the one we love..with their life and emotions we play...
