I saw Emily last night on my way home from work, she looked really bad. Pale, weak and sedated. I talked with Jessie this morning, she was exhausted. She said Emily cried in her sleep all night being in so much pain. Her stomach is bloated even with the decreased feed. Jessie said the dr.s said the nerve endings at the bottom of the stomach where the stomach empties into the intestines is very very sensitive at this point but that the pain medication should take care of it. Jessie said obviously the medication isnt doing its job. Jessie and I talked about when Rick leaves that I will just come to her house after I get off work and stay to take care of Elijah, I will spend the night on school nights so I can get Elijah off to school in the morning (he goes to Republic) so Jessie can just focus on caring for Emily and getting some sleep when she can. Then I will bring him home with me on the weekends so I can see Carl and my other kids. Stacey has been a great help in having Elijah hang out the the cousins. I am concerned for Jessie as well as Emily. She needs sleep to stay strong. We considered her moving back home but then you think about an ambulance getting up my driveway in a hurry and we changed our minds on that strategy. Republic is much closer to the hospital if she quits breathing again. It takes food to make a body strong and Emily cannot handle food even thru the feeding tube very well. Her body is just weak thruout all the body systems. I just wish the dr.s could find out what is wrong with my little Emily. Thank you for all the prayers
