I see people flaunting cancer stuff around which is great but they never share one thing lupus related. But I think what they have no clue about is the fact that lupus is actually a worse diagnosis then cancer and cystic fibrosis combined. Many people have no idea what this condition is or the affect on someone like me who lives with this daily. But if theyd educate themselves, if they read, if they stand beside us in our efforts maybe one day we can see the day when we no longer have to watch our loved ones die from something this horrible. Can you imagine having to lay to rest your son or daughter because no one cared enough to help you fight for a cure, to not only finding the cure but to finding the cause and understanding this illness fully. Me either and Ive watched enough friends of mine recently die from this and Im sick of it! We need to find the cause and fight for a cure. I dont wanna be another soul one day lost from this illness, instead I want to be one of them saying I helped find the cause, and now were gonna have a cure.
