Jane the Virgin Season 1 Episode 2 Recap: Milk-Shaken Up Jane tried to make a vow on Jane the Virgin Season 1 Episode 2: She will not care much about the baby accidentally growing inside of her. She will not let it change the life she had planned out so meticulously before that doctor made the mistake to end all mistakes. But... well... I’m going to get attached to it. How could I not? she cried to her mother at one point. Watch Jane the Virgin Season 1 Episode 2 Online Jane begins the episode by saying she’s going to refer to her fetus as milkshake in order to remain stoic about it. However, this milkshake cause some indigestion for her rather quickly, as Jane soon admitted to Michael that she and Rafael kissed five years ago. This leaves Michael pretty darn jealous throughout the hour. With Michael and Petra in the lounge, Jane and Rafael then hear their child’s heartbeat via ultrasound, flirting a bit as they do. Michael, meanwhile, tells Petra that he’ll tell Rafael about the affair if she does not. She deduces that Michael doesnt want the baby and agrees to confess. After Michael asks her to quit her job, Jane cries to her mother about how she has already grown attached to Milkshake. It all started with hearing that heartbeat. Xiomara encourages her daughter to file a lawsuit against the physician… all while Jane’s dad is hiding out in the bedroom, unbeknownst to Jane. Jane’s mom doesn’t want the expose her fragile kid to him just yet, but she does want to expose herself: Alba later accidentally walks in on her daughter sleeping with the telenovela presidente. Chin up, Jane tells Michael she’s not going to quit a job she enjoys. They make up. She shares with him her intent to sue Rafael’s sister. Oh, by the way: Rafael’s sister is sleeping with their stepmother! Finally, Petra confesses to Rafael, who responds as one would expect. Later, though, he gives her a copy of the ultrasound pictures and tells her he wants to give their marriage another change. However, all does NOT end well, as Petra’s lover Zaz dropping (from where?) and getting impaled on a sculpture of a marlin while all of the party attendees watch in shock. Can you blame them?!?
