I sent out a parent e-mail to the mini hip-hop parents about 5 minutes ago, but I wanted to repost the information here in the event that any of you see this before you see the e-mail. Please share with any of your dance parent friends. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with a severe allergic reaction since last night. In April last year, I developed a condition called Angioedema which causes random onset swelling in the lips and face accompanied by hives all over my body.I dont feel horrible, I just look horrendous. I was not able to go to work this morning because the swelling in my lips was so severe, but I was hoping that this would subside in time enough for me to be able to facilitate class this evening. Under the advice of my allergist, I have made the decision to cancel class for the evening. I truly apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause to you or your dancer, and I am very disappointed to have to rearrange class for the week. For those of you who are able to attend, I am rescheduling class this week for this Thursday 9/4 from 6-7pm at the normal location. I realize that this may not work for some of your schedules, and again I apologize for this. I am hopeful that your dancers will be able to attend this session, but it is completely understandable if this conflicts with any of you previous engagements. Please help to spread the word to any of your dance parent friends, and I would appreciate any and every good thought, vibe, or prayer that you are willing to send up for my health. Again, I am deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, and I will hopefully see you all on Thursday the 4th. Thank you for your understanding, and I will hopefully see you all this Thursday 9/4. Lauren.
