I seriously love meeting new people. Not just the fact that its a new person to add to a list, but the experience of meeting someone new. You start with the, sometimes awkward, initial interaction; exchange of names, maybe establishing a common interest. Then, as you see that person more and more because you frequent the same place, you begin to have more in depth conversations that allow you to get to know each other. What I really enjoy is when all of those things happen quickly. That paves the way to potentially know that person on a much closer level. When that happens, you can start to see who that person really is, and not just what they want you to see. I personally enjoy when I still appreciate the person after I begin to know them more closely. Making the transition from brand new acquaintance to close friend or even love interest is exhilarating to me. That is what I am experiencing right now, and I thought I would share.
