I speak out very strongly against liberalism, and I am rough on liberals in general. But thats because I believe that no matter how much they couch it in compassion and enlightenment and fairness - at its heart, liberalism is a deeply flawed and dangerously destructive ideology. Not just economically, but on the human psyche. This is why - Despite what liberals are constantly trying to convince us: *You cannot tax a nation into prosperity *You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity *You cannot borrow your way out of debt *You cannot spend your way to a balanced budget *All men are created equal, but not all men will avail themselves of their equal opportunity *Equal opportunity is fair and just. Economic equality is neither, because unlike equal opportunity, equal outcomes can only be achieved by forceful search, involuntary seizure and state redistribution. *Everyone should be free to choose – but no one should be free from the consequences of their choices *Those who choose their own subsidy over another’s liberty deserve neither *Virtue cannot be mandated, because once forced it is no longer virtue. *What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving *The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take away from someone else *You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it *When half the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half are going to take care of them; and when the other half discover that it does no good to work because someone else is going to get what they have worked for, all labor will begin to cease.
