I spent the afternoon at my sons house eating chili and talking about things we remembered when he was a little boy. We started the conversation by talking about ebola and beheadings in our world today, and how much simpler life was back then. I said my worries of the world when I was young were nuclear war and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He said he remembered being worried that the hostages in Iran would never be set free if Jimmy Carter was elected again. Then we started talking about our daily routines when he was little, TV shows and commercials of those times. What a great afternoon with a man who has always been such a wonderful part of my life. My life....which as I look back, has been exceptionally happy, and continues to be so today. I found myself humming this song on the way home (it is an old song), and I wanted to share it. It is a beautiful song. Spend time with your loved ones. Time is FLYING by! :)
