I spoke to my brother and he said to add the following about our experience serving customers at The Bike Shack: We enjoyed renting our bikes because our customers were satisfied. They loved the bikes, the trails and just tooling around town. We made an experience out of changing your tires, tuning your bikes and making the necessary adjustments. We ran our shop like an old fashioned bike shop. It wasnt necessary to charge high prices and we made a lot of people happy. My brother and I got closer. We never did anything with each other when we were younger. I left home and the next interactions were celebrating holidays with our kids. Then our families started camping together with the kids he grew up with from the neighborhood. So when we found ourselves running The Bike Shack we hadnt a clue how we would get along. What we found is that we are both hard workers; willing to work long hours and we liked servicing customers. Our kids came to Ptown to support us. We were stressed about the unknown and by the time the season was over we were grateful that we did so well. We had fun in spite of the stress, thank god! The other cool thing is that so many towns people were very supportive and it made our summer. We didnt have one bad interaction. My brother wanted me to express our sincerest thanks to you all. We will stay open full time until mid December. After, we will stay open here or there and then we will reopen in March or April, depending on the snow fall. Take care.
