I still remember the first time I stepped inside the Sheriffs Office. I sat in front of a man whos confidence inspired trust, loyalty, and who was to become my Boss, my Mentor and ultimately one of my dearest friends (Sheriff Sigifredo Sigi Gonzalez). Now that my uniform is at the very back of the closet, I remember some of his words that day 20 years will go by in a blink of an eye, and they did. What nobody told me was how much our community would become a part of me. The journey has been tremendous, A handful of experiences I would have prayed for a different outcome, the rest of it I wouldnt change a thing. I am humbled by your well wishes, texts, and calls. Most of all I want to thank you for allowing me the privilege to serve you, but in the spirit of football season, this is only halftime, I hope to continue serving you, my community at the newly formed Z.I.S.D.P.D. Thanks to all of you, Aaron Sanchez.
