I stopped by the shelter today. Tried to save a life, unsuccessfully. 65 dogs died there today because no one was going to come for them over the holiday. Its disgusting. The real killers... the backyard breeders and those of you who support them, the puppy mills, the irresponsible owners, those of you who dont spay and neuter, those of you who shop rather than adopt, those of you who think its ok to place your burden on someone else and give your pets away when youre sick of them or because your kid wouldnt take care of it. Happy Thanksgiving. I guess the 65 we werent able to save can be thankful to have left such a heartless world.
