I stopped to get gas off the interstate this morning and saw a homeless woman sitting on the sidewalk sobbing her eyes out. She had a sign asking for money but did not have it up. I have no money but I gave her my granola bar, a banana, a bottle of water and a pair of hot hands along with the $.50 that I had in my pocket. She was just crying uncontrollably. I gave her a big bear hug and told her that I would pray for her and asked if she wanted to talk about it. She said no, but added that my prayers were already working. She dried her eyes and walked away. I cant help but think about that song what if God were one of us? Every single thing in this world needs and deserves our compassion. Even the less desirable ones. In fact, they need it more than anyone. He knew I needed that lesson this morning. Okay Ill stop bending yalls ear now. Im off to be a plumbers helper since nobody has a parking lot for me right now. Gotta stay busy and try to make some money! Have a great day friends and look for opportunities to help someone đ
