I think that illegal aliens should be treated the same as Americans. Here is what I mean. When an American enters the United States from a foreign country, the American must show proof that he or she has a legal right to enter their own country. They do this by showing their passport to the immigration officer at the border as they come into the country. Mexicans, Cubans, Guatemalans, and so on seem to believe that all they have to do is walk in to the country. It’s OK seems to be the attitude from the Whitehouse and others. Why You’re a racist for even suggesting that Mexicans show ID for anything. Well I say that what is right is right and that Mexicans and other illegals ought to be treated the same as Americans. They ought to be detained at the border until they can show proof that they have a legal right to enter the country. If an American must show their passport to come into THEIR OWN COUNTRY after visiting abroad then ALL foreigners should have to do the same as the Americans. Asking them to show ID is NOT racist when Americans have to do it as well.
