I think this piece is very relevant to Science Debate. The issue is one of science. Supreme Court justices are getting the science wrong in a way that may influence a very important decision. Frankly, I think if a SC justice cant get very simple science right and it influences decisions, that justice should be sanctioned or impeached because it is a matter of competence. Certainly, though, Senators should be questioning perspective Federal judges on their science literacy, and Presidents should be appointing science savvy judges.
