I try and keep the stress level around my house to a minimum. But when my 16 year old daughter calls me crying her eyes out because she almost got in an accident because of all the flooding I panicked just a bit. She rarely cries. I had to trek on foot to the tom thumb down the road in 2 foot flooding by foot. When I got to her she was still upset and shaken. She told me several cars almost hit her because the car stalled because of the deep water on the roads. She told me she tried to start it several times and every time she would put it in drive it would stall again. She said she did that about 30 times. But she finally got it to start and pulled into the tom thumb. I got the car to start easily because the time it sat there I guess it dried off from underneath..When I drove it up the brakes were slipping because of the wetness under the car. It was scary driving it. This whole day has been a bit stressful. I hope she can get a ride to work tomorrow. It is 80 percent chance of rain again. I live in what is termed....low lying area...Tomorrow must be a better day!!
