I used to be so ashamed of my bible.....its so worn out....pages are dogeared, Psalm 91 is yellow bcoz I keep it open on that page @ all times, no matter what....all kinda stuff is stuck in it to mark that scripture for future studying.....then I noticed dads bible...its just as worn, stuff stuck in it too, when I bought it years ago, I promised myself to never write in it,.underline nothing,.keep it looking new.....well, life has lead me to this bible soooo many times.....its stained with my tears on some pages....its so worn bcoz I came to realize that I needed the Word, I have studied these scriptures....it fed me when I was hungry, quinched my thirst, encouraged me, TAUGHT me, helped me raise my fruit....I needed it and it has always been right on time..im not ashamed of it anymore.... Im proud of it....it holds so much...Thank you Lord God for your Word...we cannot live without Gods word.....imma keep on using it, reading it.....its food for my spirit......
