I want to add that even though I only went just over 22 miles, and scratched.... when I got back to the truck I still camped.... I fired up the cooker, fed and watered my dogs.... and then after loving them, thanking them, unharnessing them and, loading them in the truck..... I dug out my sleeping bag, threw it across the front seat of the truck and slept there at the race site instead of going to the hotel.... I wanted to be there waiting for my race partner to come in... I initially was thinking he would have made a little better time to Ollokot and might have come in early morning... but sadly he ended up scratching this morning out at Ollokot... so we were there waiting for him to arrive after someone went out to get him and his team...
