I want to ask the Member of Parliament for Diego Martin West who was also a Minister of Housing and a Minister of Planning under the last government if his government ever advanced a plan to widen and deepen the Diego Martin river, which has had its normal capacity doubled and doubled again due to the extension of the highway to Diamond Vale and the massive hillside development that was allowed to take place unregulated during the last boom under his government. You see vision is more than words, it is a comprehensive planning ability that takes all variables into account and prepares for the worst, like where does the water from my new development go, can that system handle the new capacity? If the answer is yes i would like to be forwarded a copy of that plan. If the answer is no, tell me after three years of damaging floods due to the lack of vision at the development stage and the lack of representation at the reaction stage should the people even consider you worthy to run a constituency much less a country. The tragic joke about it is, everytime people in Diego Martin suffer the effects of flooding it is sad to know that is is preventable but for leadership and representation.
