I want to know what all of my FB friends recommend. Collin went into Expedia yesterday to make a one way tix to Denver. It showed on the Expedia web page that the tix was being booked with United. He received a confirming email from Spirit Airlines. They are refusing to cancel the reservation even though its within the 24 hour policy time frame that Expedia posts on their web page. Spirit claims a different story altogether even though we were led to believe the tix was being reserved with United. Spirit assumes you know they have a 7 day cancellation policy, but he had no idea prior to accepting the reservation that he was even flying on Spirit Airlines. They totally stonewalled my request for cancellation with no penalty. Theyre charging for the tix with a refund which must be used on their airline within 60 days. The Supervisor spouts company policy that you must deal with Spirit even though the tix was processed by Expedia for their customer. I just had an hour and a half run-around between Expedia passing the buck to Spirit and shut down by Spirit. Theyll never make it with those customer relations.
