I wanted to share my big babies with you all and my awesome DIY filter. I used a maxijet 1200 and a water bottle. I bought bulk filter fiber and carbon and just replace the filter media once a week. It cleans the whole tank better than any other filters Ive tried and is super easy to clean and change. The maxijet is strong enough that it circulates the water in the whole tank so I dont get pockets of debris hanging around for long. I love it!
