I was disappointed to find that when my teenager had a bike - TopicsExpress

I was disappointed to find that when my teenager had a bike accident yesterday arvo (foot path of Bussell Hwy) as he moved to allow more room on the footpath for an approaching bike (hitting an uneven part of the path and connecting with a large tree and ground) nobody stopped to help or ask if he was ok? The bike was very damaged so if his shocked state (he also hit his head) or obviously injured (nasty fracture) arm hanging by his side was not a sign he needed help, what was? Obviously I have reinforced to my kids to call an ambulance if this was to happen again, I got there as soon as I could after his call... the roads/ paths were busy- people sticky beaking (once again not offering help) as I tried to lift/ position the broken bike in my car- while stressing about my injured son. Please consider stopping and offering help to others in need- what if it was your loved one that needed help and nobody stopped...?
