I was given SEVEN from cousin Kelly Dabrowski, will be hard (to share something you dont know about me)...Im pretty open here on FB, but will try! #1) My deceased grandmother visited me when I was 7 (do I have your attention now? lol) #2) Besides a newspaper route, babysitting and house cleaning - I used to work for a doctors wife as a house cleaning helper. I did all the yucky jobs. One day from her bedroom she buzzed me, I came in, she asked me to make her two eggs over easy with toast lightly buttered. I quit on the spot, wasnt my job nor why I was hired and I certainly didnt see any advancement opportunities. . . I was 15. #3) I crashed my parents car into a tree while showing off my driving skills. It was a very windy road (Gilbride Rd, Martinsville, NJ). The tree was about 3 inches around - saved me from tumbling down a steep embankment - No one was injured, in the crash. I was 17. #4) I was in a Toyota Celica with a friend who showed off his driving skills on Cottontail Lane - Somerset NJ, he pushed the speed limit to 100 mph. Remembering #3-- I freaked out and demanded he stop. I was 17. (Just a short break here ... this is why we worry about our kids getting drivers licenses) #5) I started my 19 year newspaper career as a Bundle Delivery Truck Driver (like a UPS truck). I used to wear summer dresses and heels while I worked, dressing for success was always a priority! I was 19- and a much better driver. #6) I stood in line on South Street in Philadelphia to meet Howard Stern - The King of All Media. Met Jay Leno instead. (I have some good VHS video from that day...one day will get around to converting it) #7) The car I now drive has a dent in the back because I backed up into my husbands truck...guess I still need to work on my driving skills :-)
