I was hanging up clothes, letting Karma run around the yard between the clothesline and the pond. She spooked a very large coyote, who headed north across the peanut field, towards the north line Rd. The chase was on, and properly, Karma wouldnt recall. I loaded Lacey J and drove around to near a neighbors driveway, just missing the coyote, and able to catch Karma as she tried to cross, chasing it. Considered letting her run it down, but it looked so healthy, that I thought they might wind up in Alabama. I think that it had been either resting near, or drinking from the pond when she smelled it and alerted on it. Who says rural life is boring.
