I was just watching the BBC News and listened to someone talking about the India Mars mission that just took place. He asked that everyone think for a minute about how (IF) we ever find life on another planet it might change our thinking as (in my take) arrogant citizens of planet Earth. He speculated that it would bring people to a new reverence of our true place in the cosmos. Possibly a new sense of Universal spirituality if you will. I couldnt help but think of all the religions (Christianity being one of them) that claim that there is only one way to eternal life and only through their guy. If there is human life on Mars (Martians)... How will those folks ever get to Heaven? They have never heard about Jesus or any of the other saviors that are supposed to keep one from burning in an everlasting Hell at the end of the day. Ya have to admit folks, it does make one think...
