I was looking for a sad poem to write about this sweet little girl ... but I feel the pictures are sad enough. My heart hurts when I think of the Hell she had to go through. In her past she was seen as a money maker - bred constantly and thrown away when she could be bred no more. But now she is safe and with us and looking for a brighter tomorrow ... we owe her at least that. I am going to warn you some of the pictures maybe a little hard to swallow - but we need your help. This girl is going to need a lot of help and it is going to take a lot of money. She is a puppy mill survivor ... her story is just beginning to unfold. Where do we begin to tell you about her ailments ... first off lets start off with two mammary tumors, cauliflowered ears (from untreated ear infections - the infection is so bad it has penetrated the outer ear). She has rotten teeth - so bad that we know none will be saved. My heart breaks looking at her - but I know you ... our friends will help us help her and show her that kindness, second chances and love do exist. She is only 6 years old ... this my friends is a puppy mill dog ... this is how they usually arrive at a shelters door. We dont know how long she will have on this planet - but we are committed that she will find an awesome home where she will know eternal love, the comfort and warmth of a home, treats and praise.
