I was very happy to pledge to this project (as well as Chely Wrights) today. Matthew Rettenmund was one of the first people to interview me after All-American Boy came out... I mean, he just wouldnt stop harassing me ;p lol but we hit it off right away and Ive been a fan of his style as an interviewer and a writer since. As talented as he is at spontaneously ( and consistently) capturing some NYCs finest grade-A beef in their natrual habitat, he is even more of an intellectual. But more than ALL of that... Matthew is the most reasonable person to write for a blog in the history of the internet. He has been fair and kind and REAL with me, and for that I want to commend him and say thank you for being a voice of reason! Anyways... here is the project. He said I was going to be mentioned in it because of my infamous following-down-the-bleachers-and-knocking-people-over-in-the-first-minutes-of-a-Madonna-concert-and-getting-chased-out-by-security story. I think it was just a joke? maybe not? ... I certainly dont feel thats important enough for something like this.. but hey.. Ill take it... its a pretty great story.
