I was watching the Press Conference at Malacanang this morning through Solar News where Sec. Lacierda detailed the events of Napoles’ surrender and answered questions from the press. I was disgusted and dismayed sa mala-higanteng kabobohan ng mga tao sa press. They question the way Napoles was probably VIP-treated, kung nag-good evening ba, sino ba si Napoles para si presidente pa ang mag-meet sa kanya, nag-handshake ba sila ni presidente, pinakain ba sya sa Malacanang, etc, etc. Hay grabe. The press agencies might do well to send their best guys to such high profile conferences para naman hindi mapahiya kompanya nila. I like what Sec. Edwin Lacierda blurted when he was obviously pissed by Anakbayan, “Let Anakbayan be smarter than….”(I forgot next words”). One of the few intelligent questions asked came from a viewer who texted his question; “will Napoles case be that only about serious illegal detention to which she was accused or about PDAF”. Let the nation have a sigh of relief; Napoles has surrendered and is custody. As stated already, she is the key to the PDAF mess. Let us see that she is protected and allow her to open the can of worms.
