CryptoWall Virus: What You Need To Know! We would like to remind you of a serious virus threat, this NEW version of the CryptoWall Virus, is particularly nasty. Once it infects your computer, your files will be encrypted and held for ransom. Literally. The bad guys behind this virus will attempt to extort money for the unencryption key -- which is the ONLY way for you to get your files back (but paying the fee doesnt guarantee that you will receive the key -- so beware!) Unfortunately, the Doc cant break this encryption -- even the government cant break it. In addition to holding your files hostage, it also installs additional viruses and malware that must be removed from your machine. In the past week, we have had two business clients who were hit HARD by this little bugger. In previous weeks we have had many individuals computers that were also infected. There are ways to protect yourself & your computer from this threat, so we encourage everyone to learn more about this virus before it infects your computer.
