I watched Notting Hill recently because I heard its a really good romantic comedy. I couldnt get past the demeaning, arrogant way Julia Roberts character spoke to Hugh Grants character throughout the movie. I realize she played a big movie star and he was a nobody bookseller, but still...I couldnt bring myself to feel good about it when they got together (thats not a spoiler, everyone knows thats what happens eventually in every romantic comedy.)
