I wonder if people think we Christians witness just because we want to annoy them or make them think about things they dont want to think about. The truth should be that we witness because we love people and God loves people and we believe that there is a wonderful place we can spend eternity in, and we want them to spend eternity there with us. We also believe there is a terrible, sad place where the lost spend eternity after they find out they were misled, when it is too late, and they know that the wonderful place truly exists and that they will never get to be there. The foundation of salvation is love. How can sharing that love be perceived as annoying or oppressive? If someone is trying to witness to you, at least open your heart to the fact that it is an act of love. The world needs more of that.
