ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE!! In my communication seminars, I speak daily to the fact that men and women handle conflict very differently. Predominantly speaking, when men have conflict, they address it head on and directly with the other person, state their concern and then say something like, So were good? Great, lets go get a beer! LADIES -- most of us do not do this. If we have a problem with Bob, we will tell everyone EXCEPT Bob. Then we will pass our feelings about Bob down through our lineage. Well tell our great-grandchildren about BOB. Bottom line --- we dont address the person directly or tend to let things go --- SURPRISINGLY - if a strong woman communicates like a man (which by the way IS Assertive Communication), she is often call the B word. And most usually she is called that by other women! Its time to learn how to love, FORGIVE, walk away, LET GO, try again and persevere.
