If Beyonce is a powerful feminist I must have the wrong definition of the word. My girl Beyonce...on one hand youre fierce, youre exotic, you can do no wrong. On the other youre a female dog in every song. Does anyone even know Beyonce is smart? Because if she was a boy she wouldnt have to crawl on all fours to crawl up the charts JZ...Really had to strain to hear, the words came fast and disappeared, drowned out by good music Im not gonna lie. Good beats are the noise behind which singers hide as they beat up woman inside. When top 40 is played in dance class, I try my darnest block it out and dance to a beat in my head. Im in the minority when I say playing this music is degrading and contributing to this horrible cultural norm. Were supposed to be the artistic and forward thinking community. Were a few steps behind our time.
