If I were to become Prime Minister of Canada, I think that I would - TopicsExpress

If I were to become Prime Minister of Canada, I think that I would break the tradition of electing my party members for cabinet and, instead, elect members from all parties. First of all different parties (and people) are better in different areas; second of all since they are not of the same party it would force them (based on how the cabinet functions) to work together. On top of that, because I really do like my contingency plans, I would select a member from each party to either watch the cabinet members of their own party or the cabinet members of an opposing party in order to encourage against corruption since by doing so they would be giving their opponents fodder for the next election. This selected person would either be out to stop corruption to prevent their party from looking bad or looking for fodder against an opposing party, respectively.
