If our leaders have been more assertive in their handling of this very sad & unfortunate situation instead of deciding what information or facts to be release & what to withhold & what need to be sugar coated. The foreign press are very unlike our local press as they will question everything & will bring in their experts to back them up with facts & figures. They will make arguments many will find difficulty to refute. To me, I find the Malaysian Authorities have made a lot of missteps which could not stand up to scrutiny. Implying that the pilot may be involved without evidence is a missteps that should not take place. His friends insists he is not the type of man to indulge in something which is criminal in nature. Immediately clearing the 2 persons travelling on stolen passports is a No No & instead more detailed investigation on these 2 should be carried out. Last but not least the biggest gaffe is our Air Force why they didnt raise the alarm when our air space is infiltrated raises more questions. Please do not shoot this messenger for bringing these facts out but maybe our leaders might help be being transparent, responsible & leave no stones up turn.
