If you believe your place in paradise depends on whether your good deeds on the earth amount to more than your bad you can be sure that it doesnt. The bible says ALL have sinned and fall SHORT of the glory of God. Our loving creator knew well in advance. For this reason he doesnt make our entrance into paradise contingent upon our own good because we have none. Even our BEST is as filthy rags before a HOLY God. He is SO loving and SO desiring that NONE perish that he has made our future in paradise contingent upon his OWN goodness. Salvation (being saved from the punishment we DESERVE for the sins weve committed) is the gift of God and NOT of works (no amount of good deeds can secure it for you.) Lest ANY Man should boast (none can say their good deeds got them in, their tithes n giving, their dinner sales, their church attendance). God gave his Son as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind. YOUR part is to ACCEPT that he has done this for you. Good Morning FBF! Woke up this morning and said,God what is your purpose for me being here. Reveal it to me so that I might accomplish it and go. And this was the VERY thing that popped into my head to share, so Maybe someone was curios about Salvation...
