If you dont have a black father, a black brother or a black son, you dont understand whats going on in Ferguson. You dont get the frustration. You dont get the pain. You dont get the just damned pissed offness!!!! I do not agree with the looting, or the riots. But I get the fear. I dont have the answers. I just know I am tired of being scared for MY BLACK MALE CHILD. I hate when he goes to the mall, cause even though he has a pocket full of money, he is suspect by virtue of his blackness. I make my son pull his pants up because I dont want to see his butt, but I also hate that I have to make him understand that he MUST pull his pants up around the police because again, because of his BEAUTIFUL brown skin, he is public enemy #1. I hate that I must make my sweet son take his hoodie off around certain folk cause they think hes a gang banger because of his race. I mean, he must be, right? You dont understand my anger so please, please, please just stop. By that same token, to my people, be MORE THAN WHAT THEY THINK YOU ARE. The looting and acting a fool, the black on black crime, not using your voice for good, not seizing educational opportunities just makes them think they are right. AND THEY ARE NOT! #PISSED
