If you from Mafube PLEASE READ THIS: Im writting this without any political anger, but a as young person who wanna see prosperity among the community. The population for Mafube was 61 936 in 2008 with 26.8% of households having no income. UNEMPLOYEMENT remains a critical concern in the area and unemployment figures could generally be considered as HIGH. Only 16.6% of the population is employed. The most recent unemployment statistics for Mafube is 13.3%; the portion of the eligible work force that is unemployed, is calculated as 24.6% and 30.4% of the population is not economically active. The only solution since the merge of the four towns to fight unemployement and poverty is that Local Economic Development Mafube has a comprehensive LED Strategy and intend to specifically focus on Tourism, industrial, agricultural and SMME development. Part of the strategy for local empowerment and capacity building is the introduction of LED learnerships and involvement in the EPWP. So nna Bongani Mbele ke botsa hore how many people do u know that are making it in life because of the learnerships they got from the LED? Are this learnerships really helping the community?
