If you get a chance please watch the beautifully realised documentary As You Dreamt it Woodville which I collaborated on early last year. It is on the ABC Thursday Jan 8 at 10.05pm. It documents a social project to help unite a fractured housing community in Western Sydney. The residents were partnered with a range of artists to understand, capture and then share the most telling and intimate pieces of themselves. I was fortunate enough to work with and interpret the incredible story of Monireh Diznabi. Monireh escaped persecution in Iran to seek refuge in Australia. Her dreams form the basis of the photographs I produced for the project. It was beautifully directed by Leigh Richards and Jen Peedom.
