For my mother-in-law Please say a prayer for her and the family! This is the toughest time they have had yet! Thank you Years ago, the new book was opened; the sounds of the binding cracking and the aroma of the new paper filled the air. The book was being prepared for the quill dipped in ink to make its very first mark to describe what was to be a wonderful journey. The words were simple at first, describing the new life of a young little girl heading into an unknown adventure. Each season in life became a new chapter of life. School, basketball and then true love. The quill and ink wrote beautifully the life as this young girl became a beautiful woman. Words flowed so delicately and without stoppage. Chapter after chapter became filled with even more meaning to life as characters named Sandra, Betty, Janice Paula and Terri were brought into the story. These chapters sometimes ran together though each was so different. The love was given differently but never any less for either one. The words written were separate maps for each to find their own way.... But you showed it in a way that branded each heart to strive and carry the morals that you were raised with. In following chapters, anniversaries, son in laws and even grandchildren were blessed by you. Then; Sickness, loss and many obstacles were being scattered through your later chapters, but your hand stayed steady and the words were infused with strength for those around you. Many seasons have now past, the once new and stiff binding has become worn, pages yellowed and torn, the ink faded.... But every word, every story, and every moment of teaching and caring have been tattooed in our souls with the mighty tool you always used..... Love! When this chapter is over, the book closed, you will start a new book that I hope to be able to read when I get to the other place.
